Lunch for Lunch is an event we to host at every project nearing completion. We show appreciation to the crews by celebrating with lunch, big-ticket raffle prizes and new hi-vis shirts, along with raising funds to give back to a local organization through donations and a donation match from Ownership. We start by hosting lunch for the workers, then we all pay it forward by donating money to purchase meals for those in need.

 

Lunch for Lunch was originally established as as way to supplement local school districts' subsidized lunch program along with hosting a worker appreciation lunch. We would select a local school district as the beneficiary and raise funds through raffles and donations. These funds would then be donated to the chosen district's subsidized lunch program, which aims to benefit low-income families and settle outstanding debts related to the program—thus embodying the essence of Lunch for Lunch.

We have raffled off TV’s, tool packs, solo stoves, fishing trips, paddle boards, and more for our construction crew and subcontractors, and now partner with a local non-profit organization to raise awareness and give back to the community.​ ​​Giving back to those who have helped us get here is what we do.
